LC is back from UK for about 2 weeks. So took half day off today to meet up with her, and to do some last minute shopping before the GST increase on 1 July. I want to get a hifi for my room.
We went to Vivocity since she has not been there yet. First we went to Best Denki to see if they have the Sony micro hifi that I had been eyeing, but no stock at the Junction 8 branch. Spotted it on a shelf, but there was no sales personnel around to ask, so we decided to go shopping first and come back for the hifi later.
Shopped for a couple of hours. Spotted a top in Esprit that I liked, but no size... LC got a pair of jeans from Mango. Took some photos at the sky park too.
Sentosa: Skinny snowman: The queue at Vinco donut was too long, so didn't manage to get any. Finally went back to Best Denki, but they had no stock!!! Arrgh!!! They should put a sign that says Out of Stock mah, juz like the Best at J8. Sigh... think will juz wait for the arrival of the stock at J8 and get it from there in July bah.
Had lunch with VR, YF & some colleagues today at Hong Kong Street, Boon Lay Shopping Centre. Very cheap set lunch - 6 dishes for 6 people for only $36. 有鱼有虾. And additional fish of the day for discounted price of only $6. Cheap cheap!!
But left the MapleStory figurine (a Warrior!) which I got from the capsule machine at the restaurant... :(
On course at HQ today. Had lunch with MW at Far East, and on our way back to office, saw these 2 people walking ahead of us. They look like NN and CH, but they're not. Ha! Almost 认错人!
Played basketball with my secondary school team mates today. It's been more than 10 years since we last played together. But surprisingly we all still have some skills left in us! Must be due to the torturous and grueling trainings we had last time!! Everything ingrained in us oredi =) Only thing lacking is stamina. Everyone nearly died when we attempted to play full court.
Think I've lost my ability to find open spaces tho... kept running around like a 无头苍蝇 during our half court games (and getting very tired!!), but can't get the ball in a good position... need to practice more!! Next game in 2 months time!!
Ow Ow Ow... arms ache, legs ache, butt ache... feeling the full effects of ADL's warm-ups today.
Still, went for karaoke with CH & AM at PartyWorld Bishan, where they have a 4 hour promotion (before 8pm) for $9.80+++ per pax, inclusive of one drink, fruits and titbits.
After that, went on a shopping spree at Junction 8. Bought this for $29.90 (after 50% discount) from Giordano:
Since it's school hols now, decided to take up some additional dance classes in addition to KR's class on saturdays. Been rather stagnant lately, so hope can improve a bit. Signed up with 2 CCs on Wed and Thurs nite. Juz so happen that the classes are starting during this period, for 2 months, so juz nice can fit into the school hols period. First few classes a little slow though. Hopefully will pick up speed.
Then realised that ADL having classes on friday nites at another CC. She covers for KR sometimes when KR can't make it to class. PL interested to join, so decided to join with her.
Missed the first class last week cos of PC Show, so attended first lesson yest. Wow, her warm-ups can kill man!! Crunches, leg lifts, push-ups...
And ADL replaced KR for today's class too!! Nearly died during the warm-up!! 2 days in a row of tough warm-ups!! Aching all over now...
So many dance classes - like KR's best, followed by ADL's. Hope the other 2 classes will become more interesting after the first couple of introductory classes!

Nothing much this time leh. Only one floor of exhibition at Suntec, and some of the big companies e.g. Creative, Nikon, Apple etc. did not have any booths. Prices seem to be similar to the IT Show in March. Lots of LCD tvs and laptops for sale though.
MY bought a Sony W55 digital camera. Me? Ended up buying stuff for frens, and didn't get a single thing for myself... How sad...
